Kai 3 and 4 months old

Okay so I know I am a little behind...better later than never right?!?!? Okay so as of today 7/7/2008, Kai is officially 4months old...YEA!!! Kai had her first memorial day at the beach house and she loved the beach. I didn't really get to put her in the water that time but I let her foot touch it and she thought that was the world. She is talking so much now!! She even has a belly laugh as of June 6th, 08.

Also, as of 7/1 she started eating rice cereal. She had such a funny face at first...but she loved it! It is kind of hard to give it to her when she is STARVING because I guess I don't go fast enough! I can't wait to start her on veggies and fruits. Guy and I are going to "try” to make our own baby food. It seems kind of easy...but I will let you know how that goes when the time comes!

Guy and I also put up her jumpy in the door way...she was kind of confused on what to do, but we showed her how to jump. I think she got a kick more out of me and guy jumping in front of her then her actually jumping in it. Finally I used it as a swing and she laughed the whole time. Of course with her fingers in her mouth! Ya, her new thing is to suck her thumb or at least try to put her entire hand in her mouth! I think she has accomplished her goal of the whole hand, but the out come was her making herself puke...ya not too funny!!!

This past weekend was the 4th of July and Kai actually got to go in the water. She loved it! If I recall, I think she was falling asleep in it because she was so relaxed! I think I changed her bathing suit 4 times in just one hour! She has so many cute ones I couldn't make up my mind! I let her even play in the sand.... She loved the waves the most-just like her daddy!!!! She is going to be in the water all the time, i can see it now.

Kai as of 7/6 started to roll over all by her-self from belly to back! It made us so happy! You can tell she has the determination to want to crawl. She starts grunting at her toys and they she screams at them because she can't get them!! Today she sort of sat up by herself. She had her fist on the ground in front of her to hold her up...just for a minute and then she realized that she was doing it on her own and she fell to the side then laughed....Got to love her!!!

The start of our new life

Okay, so I know that I am starting off late but I am finally doing this to keep everyone informed about what is going on with us. So here I go.....

So as you all know, Guy Jayd and I got married on Febuary 11th,2008! It was just something small with our parents and my brother. It was the most happiest day of our life, but the only thing missing was our friends and our family...So we have picked out the day to renew our vowes, January 24, 2009. Hopefully all of you guys can be there to share our love and celebrate our new life...and speaking of that, as you all know, God gave us a beautiful baby girl on March 7th 2008. Her name is Kai Rose Wheelwright. She was born at 9:27pm and was 6lbs 13.5oz and was 19 3/4 long. She is amazing and the best baby EVER!! God could not have granted us with anything better. I know they say that no one is perfect, but let me tell you, SHE IS!!! She has changed our life for the better and this is where our blogging will begin....OUR LIFE!!!!

When Kai was born, she was welcomed by so many people. We hope one day that she will remember how many people were in the waiting room waiting for her arrival, how many people came to see her when we got to our room. There was people there from 8am to 9pm at night!!! We loved it all!!!

This is Kai at 1 month. At this time she was weighing 8lbs and was 21 inches long!!! I love it...and as you see in the pictures below, she has the chubbiest cheecks EVER!!! Nothing really fit her!! We had to buy her preemie clothes!!! She had all these cute clothes...and nothing fit!!!!

Okay, so at 2 months old, she was weighing 11.5lbs and she was 21in long!!! Kai, unfortunatley like her mommy, has acid reflex. At this time she started to be her own little person!!! She started smiling the biggest smiles and at the end of 2months, she was cooing...it melted our hearts!!!!
